The Cat Box Corp. is a small label located in Copenhagen, Denmark, that releases music on cdr and vinyl in small numbers and handmade packaging. The label is mostly run by Marc Kellaway, who - besides writing about himself in the third person - play various instruments in various projects and work full time in soul numbing office jobs to sustain his music fix.

We belive in the album as an object, whatever the media (cdr, mc, vinyl), and will never make a digital release, ever. We are not afraid of mp3s though, and wishes for a quick and painless death of all the big, big labels out there. (It'll happen sooner the expected.)

We are not interested in demos at the moment. In a perfect world with ulimited resources (time, money) to run this label, we would love to put out stuff by the other people and projekts. This is not a perfect world though, and the main reason for starting the label was being tired with the endless process of sending demos out into the void to get something released. Do it yourself!

We are interested, in honest, fair distribution of the releases. Most of our bands and projects loves to play live too. Write us, if you wan't to suggest something.

In Copenhagen our music can be found at Sound Station, or ordered though the distribution-wing of BSBTA, though if your interesed in something, the best shot would be to write us. It's easy, we're friendlt and accept PayPal. Just write and ask for availability/prices.
