The President's Heart: The Supreme Record (CBC03)
On this, their first release following the debut on BSBTA, The President's Heart move in various new and exciting directions with inspiration ranging from the cosmic/ecstatic jazz of the 70s to the pure pop of bands like The Carpenters. Partly recorded live various places in Århus (The Botanical Gardens, rooftops etc.). Handmade cover with beautiful pictures of Bitten By Blondeen on front and back. Review in Danish here. 12 tracks/31 min.Sound Station wrote: "bleak lo fi homerecorded compositons with a wonderfully "we make it up as we go along" avant pop feel caught between nursery rhymesy Residents, David Toop and Dagmar Krause - CD-R is presented in a homemade gatefold cardboard cover with a paste on photo"
The Sound Projector (issue 15, 2007) wrote: "(...)12 charming and quirky songs recorded by a bedroom band of young enthusiasts, using mostly odd acoustic instruments and delivering plenty of moments of genuine unpredictability in their minimal, stark, full-of-holes arrangements."
